GROW YOUR OWN
VEGETABLES
Did you know… Many vegetables can be grown in large pots on your patio.
Why not try Aubergine, Beetroot, Carrots, Chard, Courgette, Cucumbers, French Beans, Lettuce, Kohl Rabi, Onions, Peas, Radish, Red Pepper, Rhubarb, Runner Beans or Spring Onions.
We recommend using a large pot, raised on pot feet to allow drainage. Put about a one inch layer of broken crocks in the bottom of your pot to prevent your plant from sitting in soggy compost. Fill the pot with Westland Organic Vegetable Growing Compost and feed regularly.
Get the best results from your home grown vegetables with Sulphate of Ammonia Vegetable Food. The fast acting, nitrogen rich, formula gives your vegetables a tonic. It gets food to the plants quickly and is particularly suitable for leafy vegetables such as cabbages, spinach, lettuce and even rhubarb.
