GROW YOUR OWN
FRUIT BUSHES
Did you know… Fruit Bushes can be grown in large pots on your patio.
Why not try Blackberries, Blackcurrants, Blueberries, Gooseberries, Raspberries, Redcurrants or Tayberries
We recommend using a large pot, raised on pot feet to allow drainage. Put about a one inch layer of broken crocks in the bottom of your pot to prevent your plant from sitting in soggy compost. Fill the pot with Westland Multi-Purpose Compost with added John Innes (use Westland Ericaceous Compost for Blueberries) and feed regularly.
To get a bumper crop of fruit and flowers, we recommend Westland Sulphate of Potash. It is ideal for feeding all types of fruit trees, bushes and flowers to help plants become more weather and disease resistant.
Simple to grow and delicious to eat - a fun way towards your five a day!
