Caring for the Environment
All of our carrier bags, shrub bags and boot liners are made from degradable polythene. Please help us by only using what you need and recycling your bags as much as possible.
We endeavour to recycle as many plastic flower pots as possible. Please feel free to return any used plastic pots; we can either re-use them or return them to our pot manufacturer who will recycle them.
All cardboard box packaging is crushed here on site, made into bundles and collected by a recycling company.
Our slate-top bird tables, from Tom Chambers, are all manufactured from FSC timber (Forest Stewardship Council is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organisation established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests).
The majority of our bird nesting boxes are both FSC and BTO certified (British Trust for Ornithology). We aim to ensure all our products are FSC certified by the end of the year.
All the materials used in our Alexander Rose garden furniture comes from sustainable, legal and eco-friendly sources.
